uninstalled facebook from my phone as it was becoming nothing but a barrage of selfies and pics of friends kids or cats. a constant stream of comments like, awww!!!, thats so cute......you have such a beautiful and happy family......you look beautiful. just seems like an exercise in seeking approval and self reassurance that they are happy, even though to me it looks like the exact opposite. aside from that its just fucking boring and of no value at all for anyone who is not seeling approval or who can not be bothered to play along with the game. 

the other day a (facebook) friend of mine posted a selfie of himself sat in an ambulance that was taking his wife to hospital after she fell ill. take a moment to think about that. 
this post also came from the same person that a while back posted an update on facebook to declare that he did NOT have cancer.
