the decline of western civilisation - Part 4...i think....i lost count.

i have a friend who constantly posts on facebook. its just mostly shit and not interesting unless its a picture of somewhere nice he has been.
one of his friends wrote one of those click-bait statuses asking if you could have meet any person in the world even from history, regardless of whether they were dead or alive today, who would you choose?.
its a needy question because its only purpose is to generate traffic on your page. so might be a bit of a cunt for asking it in the first place.
anyways, my friend writes back he would like to meet Tony Robbins, who apparently is an author of self help books, and kelly slater, the surfer.

i know there are no right or wrong answers but fuck me!!.
Jesus, Castro, Dr Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, Simon Bolivar, Patrice Lumumba, Che Guevara, Eugene Debs, Gandhi, Einstein, Shakespeare, Prince, Marlon Brando, Marilyn Monroe,....you can make a long list of some informed or just interesting people he could have chosen, and he picks some bloke who writes self help books and a surfer. these are the 2 most interesting people in the history of civilisation?. fuck me.

Dylan

am not that up on pop music these days, because i do not listen to commercial radio that much anymore, but i am aware that Ed Sheeran is very popular these days. had not heard any of his music though.
over the last few weeks i have been listening to pop radio and they have been playing some of his new songs from his latest album. its kind of like folk/pop guitar music with lyrics that are trying to tell a story. fuck me, it is shit. shallow cliched lyrics reminiscing about his teen years (i thought he still was a teen), and girls, but in a really unsophisticated insincere obvious way. utter shit.

if kids think he is a big deal wait till they here someone with real talent and great lyrics. their minds will melt.

melt your minds to Bob Dylan. Hurricane.
