had to work saturday in a couple of datacentres where they were having a re-organisation and a bunch of servers were moving from one place to the next. it meant that i would miss the hottest and sunniest day of the year, but because i ended up working from 7am till 10pm, it meant i could count it as 2 days work, and so could charge them for 2 days. quids in and i will have to buy me some sunshine in southern california.
had to get 3 trains on my way home on saturday night and having woken up at 5.30 i was struggling to stay awake and i got home at half past midnight. i nearly fell asleep on the train which would have not been good.
today was sunshine, cycling, gym, laundry, ironging, world cup final. spain won and they deserved to.
its the start of another week tomorrow. i shall still try and escape and we will just have to take each day as it comes.
today i have mostly been listening to tired pony - dead american writers. enjoy.
